1) What is overclocking?
Overclocking is the means of making a processor, memory, chipset or graphics card run faster than its rated speed. This involves tuning in voltage, memory timings and latencies, understanding of FSB(front side bus), voltage options, dividers and a familiarity with the BIOS (basic input output system)
E.g Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 running at 2.4Ghz default is made to run at 3.0ghz through overclocking from BIOS.

2) Does overclocking shorten the lifespan of my components?
No it does not. Properly done, it will last as long as when it is at its normal settings. Voltage, temperature as well as main system components used, including surface components like solid capacitors and good RAM ICs will play a part in this. Which is why we stress the importance of knowing how to overclock "properly".

3) Will overclocking kill any of my components?
It is possible. But chances are that a component will fail during overclock is VERY slim. That would be a 2% chance. The only time overclocking should and would kill a main system component would be during voltage modification. We do NOT and will not do voltage modifications at all for all customers and clients here at TopGear PC.

4) I want certain parts of a package to be combined with others, can i get a better price?
Yes you can! In fact, our price list is more of a reference as to the prices we charge. Depending on each individual customer and client, we price according to his/her needs or what he/she requires.

5) Where is TopGear PC located?
We are an dot com company. Which means we have a home office. This is located in the east in Pasir Ris.

6) What about aftersales support?
All our tuned systems come with 1 year limited warranty. You can contact us through phone, mail or sms for support in the event something goes wrong after we have tuned your system. Alternatively, you can drop it off at our home office in pasir ris for free retuning.
Pick up and delivery for retuning will incur a small transport fee of $20. There is no onsite service.
